In October of 2012 Hurricane Sandy was headline news in every media outlet. Sandy was more than just news. Sandy impacted the lives of millions and resulted in 285deaths worldwide and 62 billion dollars in damage and 125 deaths in the United States alone. Hurricane Sandy impacted public water systems leaving many without access to water that was safe to drink.
Observing the devastation created by Hurricane Sandy, Mick Benson recognized the need for emergency water in the event of a disaster and was troubled by the fact that existing water storage tanks required significant maintenance to ensure that water was safe to drink. He was faced with the stark reality that the maintenance required is often neglected and that people were simply uneducated regarding the maintenance required to insure that emergency water supplies are sufficiently sanitary for use when needed. As a result, Mick designed the patent pending LifeTank.
Life Systems Group, Inc. is a California Corporation, and subsidiary of Global Research and Technology Corporation established to bring life supporting products to those who need them. Our flagship product is the LifeTank system. LifeTank is new and uniquely designed back up water system that automatically makes fresh water available at any time.
Situations that result in the need for back-up water occur frequently. Interruptions in water service or contamination of the water supply can be the result of natural causes such as earthquakes, hurricanes, winter storms and other natural disasters. These interruptions can also be the result of human threats or accidents, or even planned maintenance of municipal or private water systems. An interruption in service can last for hours, days, or weeks, or perhaps even longer.
During an interruption water is still required to meet daily needs for drinking and sanitation. The reality is that most people are not prepared to meet these needs.
Various emergency water supply systems are available that attempt to provide water for household, commercial, or industrial use. These systems, which are built around storage tanks that hold water which sits without movement for long periods of time, require maintenance to insure that water stored is not contaminated and available for use.
LifeTank provides fresh clean water during an interruption in the water supply regardless of cause and provides sufficient volumes of water for emergency use while eliminating the need for maintenance or preparation of water so that users can be assured that back-up water is always available when needed. A LifeTank system eliminates the need for rotation, filtration, or purification of water and is designed for easy installation, simply taking advantage of existing plumbing and water supply.
